my creative space

I am getting stuck into sewing projects again...maybe inspired by this nifty reel holder from a garage sale...It is more fun than you can imagine for me organising the colours on here.

But in order to turn this half cut up pinned together dress into wearable stage by tomorrow night I shall put the reels aside and focus for the rest of the day...

Happy crafting,
xkate
p.s-thank you for your sweet comments last week and suggestions in my scarf competition...the pressure to pick one out was too much for me so I asked around and miss muggins with her autumn spice is the winner...congratulations to you!
now off you pop to

Very cool and fun!!! I need something like that since mine are usually stashed in random places and I never know where to find them...Hope you finish your dress.

Your thread holder is terrific. I agree, arranging & rearranging craft supplies usually gets me making.

That reel holder would definitely get me in the mood to sew more often. Though I'm willing to bet I'd find myself reorganizing them far too often after the inevitable arranging my kids would be sure to do. Good luck with the dress!

I will definetely keep my eyes peeled for reel holders, as I reckon there'd be more than a few takers...seems popular! Dress did not get finished! Got mucked up and I made a skirt instead...skirts are SO much easier. :o)
