Trip loves sleeping on the vintage tablecloth covered floor cushion...
it was so easy to make-i did one end longer with an internal fold, (like a pillow case) , so no zippers, buttons ,etc required.
last night I said 'no' to dvds and we sat gathered round the warm glow of our heater reading, chatting...it was lovely. So quiet.
happy crafting and school holiday-ing...

Sounds like a lovely evening. I like your idea with the cushion cover, I have basic sewing skills so that would suit me not doing any zips or buttons.
Trip certainly doesn't need any DVDs does he! He looks so comfy right there on that cushion. Lovely photo.
Gorgeous cushion and Trip looks very happy! A no DVD night sounds lovely.
You seem to have the same cat issue I do!
Glad he's cosy!

the cushion looks great, and obviously comfortable! sounds like a perfect holiday evening!
Why haven’t I thought of that, I need new cushions but have been avoiding the project due to my very limited experience with zips and button holes. And the vintage table cloth fabric as well, brilliant.
Precious moments indeed.
such a treat to have no tv, the warm glow of the fire and a cat, just whats needed in these parts. stay warm
Trip sure looks v comfy there! :)
a nice way to enjoy your holiday too btw! X
